What is the best way to soften the blanket?
Answer: A cold water rinse with a fabric softener might help; however, this lovely wool is about as soft as it can be. Only a pure cashmere, or pure baby alpaca, or a very fine merino wool will be softer....but not as dense. -

Is the blanket machine washable?
Answer: You may wash this in the washing machine with COLD water on GENTLE cycle. But you must let it AIR DRY. If you put it in a dryer it will SHRINK. -

Answer: The label says “British Made”. -

Are the blankets treated with any chemicals or fire retardants?
Answer: No. Prince of Scots Highland Tweeds are 100% Pure New Wool and naturally flame retardant. -

Answer: The throw is made from pure new wool, which is not to be confused with lambswool. This is a heavy weight durable blanket. While this is soft, this blanket is not lambswool.
