The CLASSICAL ALBUM PIANO FOUR HANDS Schirmer Library of Classics, 371 is a collection of classical compositions by famous composers such as Mozart, Haydn, Clementi, Beethoven, and von Weber. The first piece, Maestro e Scholare, is a theme and variations piece that features the lower voice (the Maestro) playing some melody for two bars, then the higher part (the scholar) repeating it. This happens a couple of times, then they play something together. The theme is binary in form, and there are maybe seven variations that take the players through slow, fast, minor, major, triplets, thirty-seconds, etc. The other pieces are more straightforward and readable even for non-pianists. It's an enjoyable way to spend a Friday evening.
