MTX Component Subwoofers TNE212DV Editorial Review
The MTX Audio Terminator Series TNE212D is a great starter package that comes with two 12" subwoofers and an enclosed box. It is easy to install using line output converters and has RCA connections that work well with most vehicles if wired correctly. The sound is clean and clear with a good mid and high range. However, it may not hit as hard as some customers would like, and the bass can get a little muddy at high volumes if the port is open. In terms of durability, some customers have had these subs for years without any problems, while others have experienced blown subs within a few months. The quality of the sound is somewhat dependent on the amplifier used with it, and some customers have noticed poor sound quality when using cheaper amps like the BOSS 1100 watt riot amp. Overall, the MTX Audio Terminator Series TNE212D is a decent subwoofer setup for the price, and it provides good sound quality that will satisfy the average listener.
