Answer: The 16mm eyepiece is 1.25". -

How does this eyepiece compare to the TeleVue 24mm Panoptic?
Answer: The Explore Scientific eyepiece offers superb performance with even light transmission and tack sharp images. It also provides a great field of view and eyecup to block out external light. It is difficult to compare to the TeleVue without firsthand experience, but any differences are likely to be minimal. -

Answer: Yes, each eyepiece is tested for at least 30 minutes in 1 meter of water. -

Answer: The 8" Orion Intelliscope comes with a 2" crayford style focuser and a 1.25" adapter, so no additional adapter ring is needed. -
