PSI Woodworking Turning Tools PKMBCM2 Editorial Review
The PSI Woodworking PKMBCM1 Turn Between Centers Mandrel System #1MT is a great tool for turning one-piece pens. It is easy to use and provides great accuracy. However, some users have had difficulty with it while turning two-piece pens. The mandrel length is 7/8 inches with a groove, and you must add a bushing to it. The mandrel system is well-built, but there is no adjustment for the live center, which causes wobbling at times. Moreover, the live center has a little play, which makes the end wobble producing an out-of-round on one end of the pen blank. If you want to turn round pen blanks with precision, this may not be the ideal tool.
