This microscope is affordable and performs well for its price range. Although it does not offer the best optics, it can still be used for a wide range of applications such as observing WBCs under x1000 magnification. It is not suitable for identifying and differentiating between species of mould as its optics are not strong enough for this task. The scope can take some getting used to and overall the quality of the scope appeared to be good or similar to more expensive microscopes according to other reviews. Some users did receive their scope without all of the accessories listed, such as a power cord, colour filters and oil immersion. Others received damaged or dirty lenses. The microscope appears to be durable and a good tool for children or beginners wishing to explore small objects.
