This 7-inch Yost rapid acting vise is a good, sturdy vise that is quite easy to install. The maximum jaw opening is 10.3125 inches, and the vise takes up under the bench 8" wide x 10" deep of space when closed. It mounts under the bench, and the mounting screws are not included, which allows you to customize the installation. The moveable jaw has very little play to it, and the unlock to slide feature is a plus. One reviewer mentioned the vise rusted after a few months, so it is best to keep it oiled. There were also reports of the vise breaking a concrete floor when it fell, but this was not a widespread issue. It is priced well, and while there were some spots that were a little rough, they were easily smoothed with a fine file and a bit of emery paper. Overall, this vise does the job and is a decent product for the money.
