It offers excellent protection against UV rays and abrasions, making it ideal for exterior use. The product can also be applied over epoxy and provides maximum protection with 4-5 coats followed by occasional maintenance coats depending on level of exposure. However, the product cannot be applied over water-based products, and it is not recommended to be applied over Epifanes Wood Finish Gloss due to the possibility of damage. The polyurethane is expected to cover approximately 100 sq ft per can when mixed. Overall, Epifanes Polyurethane Clear Gloss is a great product for those looking for a clear and glossy finish to their exterior wood surfaces.
