The Pineapple Plants "Elite Gold" are a set of four plants that come in a tissue culture. They can be grown indoors or outdoors, but require full sun and a large pot, preferably with sand in its soil for quicker drainage. The plants don't require too much water and take about 18 to 24 months to produce fruit, which is edible. The plants take around 18 months to grow up to 2 feet across. The company behind the plants, Hello Organics, seems to have a mixed track record for some customers. On the one hand, several customers were pleased with the health and size of the plants, although some said they were smaller than expected. On the other hand, both the quality of the plants and the instructions for their care seemed to be problematic for others, with plants dying or barely growing.
