Answer: I don't know. Are you talking about the receiver for speaker A and speaker B? My russound is hooked up to the dual receiver as zone 2 and then 4 speakers are hooked up to the russound for surround sound throughout the house and zone 1 on the dual receiver is used for surround sound for my TV setup. Greetings. this speaker selector says 4ohms at 100 watts. does it work with my bose 8 ohms and how much wattage will it have at 8 ohms?. thanks.
Answer: It will still use the full capacity of 100 watts. Your going to have a crisper clean sound at 8 ohms. Unless your trying to bridge it down to 2 ohms, and that would cause more bass and can only be accomplished by using an equalizer/amplifier. In short, it will work and have great sound. -

If I have the speakers running through volume controls, should I still use the internal impedance matching?
Answer: Yes, if you change it around it's like dropping the impedance and it increases the load on the speakers which could potentially blow the voice coil in your speakers.
