Logitech G Flight Controls 945-000022 Editorial Review
The Logitech X52 Pro HOTAS is a PC-only throttle and joystick set up that is excellent for Elite Dangerous and flight simulators. It requires one USB port, and the throttle and stick are the same size (6.5 inches by 6.5 inches) and about two inches tall with suction cups on the bottom. The difference between the X52 and X52 Pro is that the software profile formats are not the same, so users need to manually configure themselves. This product's softwares are confusing and have a couple of buttons that are useless, but overall, it is a great controller with some buttons creatively programmable. It is also an excellent choice for flight sim or fighter games, including Star Wars Squadrons. But, several customers noted that it is essential to get mounts for it for the best experience. One user had experiences with faulty wiring across three Logitech products but was satisfied after rewiring it themselves. On the other hand, some reviewers claim that the joystick started to lose its center and had flashing button lights. One user suggests buying the Thrustmaster TWCS throttle and VKB stick for better value. Finally, Windows 11 does not support this product, so it will become a paperweight.
