Ferretts Chewable Iron Supplement 18mg (Carbonyl Iron) - 60-Day Supply of Lemon-Lime Flavored Iron Chewables for Iron Deficiency - Gentle &

Ferretts Chewable Iron Supplement is designed to address iron deficiency and provides 18mg of carbonyl iron per serving, which is a more bioavailable form of iron that tends to be gentler on the stomach compared to ferrous sulfate. The chewable format and lemon-lime flavor can make it more palatable for those who struggle with swallowing pills. One key advantage is that it's marketed as non-constipating, a common side effect of many iron supplements, making it more suitable for a broader audience, including children and those sensitive to gastrointestinal issues. However, potential drawbacks include the added sugars from flavoring and possible allergens. Nutritionists typically recommend checking for individual dietary needs and any interactions with medications. Overall, it can be a good option for those looking to improve iron levels, but it's essential to consult with a healthcare provider before starting supplementation.
