Norpro Timers 1489 Editorial Review
**** The 60-Minute Timer on a Rope has built a loyal customer base thanks to its effective performance and practical design. Users frequently report that the timer is not only reliable for cooking, but also versatile for various other tasks, from managing online auctions to keeping track of time while engaged in other activities. Many reviewers have expressed a preference for this analog timer over digital counterparts, noting its simplicity and ease of use—a sentiment echoed by long-term users who maintain that these timers last for several years even with heavy use. The timer features a loud and long ringing mechanism that alerts users effectively, ensuring that they never miss a timer’s end, a characteristic particularly praised by bakers and cooks. The ability to wear it around the neck or attach it to different surfaces using the strong magnet has added to its functionality and convenience. However, while many customers admire its straightforward design, some have encountered durability issues, particularly with the attachment of the magnet, which has been described as prone to detachment. While the timer has received accolades for its functionality, there are minor critiques about the comfort of the neck rope and instances of mechanical failure reported by a few users. The variance in user experiences regarding longevity suggests that while the timer can be a reliable tool for many, quality control may need attention. Overall, the 60-Minute Timer on a Rope remains a highly recommended choice for those seeking an effective, analog timer with multiple uses, though potential buyers might want to Consider its durability based on some user feedback. **
