The filter is easy to trim and fit into the filter housing. It can also be used for DIY projects and can be cut and shaped as per requirements. It is 1/8 inch or 3.17mm thick and works well as a replacement for foam air filters on projectors, laptops, and tower PCs. One customer used this filter to extend the time between cleaning intervals on their Alienware laptop. The filter also worked well for someone who had to put a filter on a front fan of their OMEN 32L and it allowed them to put the filter on the intake of the case.
