Answer: No, it actually dries a very pretty rich red brown. Just like in the web advertisement. We sprayed a heater cover and looks terrific. Don’t forget the primer. -

It doesn't say what finish it is. Is it glossy, matte, or satin?
Answer: If the picture to the left is the product you're asking about, it's matte. It's a primer (base coat), not a finish coat. Finish coats come in matte, semi gloss, gloss...in many colors. Hope this was helpful. -

can i use this on a ceramic electric stove top thats discolored
Answer: I don't know for sure, but it does not resist scratching on my fireplace. So, I don't know if it would withstand the daily cleaning of a kitchen stove top. -

do i have to use primer, or can i just use top coat paint?
Answer: I have only have been using it with no primer and it's been fine for one season of using my stove. If you find a primer that can take high temp I don't see it being a problem with using the two -

Answer: Used 2 cans to cover pellet stove 28 x 23 x32 inches inside the doors as well . Covered over primed surface . Still looks great!
