Mares Diving Boots Editorial Review
**** The Mares Equator 2mm Dive Boots have garnered favorable responses from users, particularly for their comfort and well-Constructed design, making them a great choice for a variety of water activities, including beach outings, fishing, and pool use. Experienced divers have noted that they serve as a more substantial alternative to lightweight SCUBA socks, providing adequate protection and performance with fins. However, a recurring theme in the feedback is that the sizes tend to run large—many users recommend ordering a size down to ensure a proper fit. This is an important Consideration, as a poor fit could lead to discomfort when using fins, especially due to heel strap issues. The boots also feature a rubber ribbed sole that users appreciate for its traction on sand, which adds to their utility for walking in aquatic environments. Despite some users expressing concerns about the long-term durability of these boots in saltwater conditions, the overall sentiment leans towards satisfaction. Users are impressed with the comfort, fit, and functionality of the boots, with suggestions for potential improvements including offering thicker sole options for increased durability. **
