Rated: Unrated Format: DVD Action & Adventure Editorial Review
Ninja Scroll - The Series Vol. 1 is the animated series adaptation of the popular 1993 film, Ninja Scroll. The series follows the protagonist, Jubei, a ninja for hire, as he battles evil forces that threaten to take over ancient Japan. While the animation may not be as detailed as the movie, the action sequences are still thrilling and visually appealing. However, some viewers may find the character development and plot to be lacking.
