Action & Adventure Editorial Review
"The Darjeeling Limited" is a film directed by Wes Anderson that explores family connection, love, and anger set within the slightly surreal world that Anderson creates, with an interesting soundtrack that includes music from the Kinks and Peter Sarstedt's "Where Do You Go to My Lovely?" However, some viewers may not enjoy the odd and meandering narrative style, with some calling it "alright," and others feeling disconnected from the film. Nevertheless, most viewers appreciate the unique approach to storytelling, citing the beautiful cinematography and the Indian and train setting as interesting factors. Itis worth noting that the Amazon film release does not include Anderson's short film "Hotel Chevalier," which some believe is a crucial prelude to the feature film.
