Shakespeare Synergy TI Spincast Reel
The Shakespeare Synergy TI Spincast Reel is a good beginner reel with no known issues. It comes in two different models; TI 4 and TI 6, which come with 4 pound test mono and 6 pound test mono line respectively. With a closed face trigger spin, this reel is perfect for the casual fisherman and a great spare for when you have company who don't fish often or are not confident with a spinning reel or bait caster. However, there have been reports of the screw that allows changing the handle from right to left being made of soft plastic and stripping immediately. Some customers have also reported receiving used and previously broken products. There are mixed reviews on the product, some customers seem to like it better than other brands while others reported it being cheaply made with fragile components.
