CodeMate marine Engine Control Modul Code Readers & Scan Tools Editorial Review
The CodeMate Tester is a marine EFI 1-4 system code reader. It plugs into the engine wiring harness Data Link Connector (DLC) and reads the Engine Control Module (ECM) faults. The code reader comes with a list of codes and displays the codes through flashing lights. It will only work if the engine has a factory installed computer controlled fuel injection and a DLC. Customers have found it easy to install and use. Some customers have successfully used it on their specific engines, while others have found it not compatible. One customer successfully used it to diagnose a TPS trouble code on their 502 Ramjet with an MEFI4a.
