The Phiten Air Titanium Necklace is a great lightweight, comfortable sports accessory for people who are looking for a string-style necklace that doesn't chafe or add weight. One buyer used it during extreme exertion and exercise and found it helped with recovery times and aches and pains. Its 17" version is perfect for sporting use, but the 20" version may not suit everyone. The necklace may not last long as it has durability issues because it is a long string, sewn together at two ends and may weaken and tear over time. The material may frizz and tear, especially where not sewn together tightly, and cord ends may frizzle out and show beyond the plastic logo piece. One buyer found that every time they take it off, it gets a little bit looser. However, another buyer who always had neck aches found that the necklace helped. It may vary from person to person, so it would be good to test it out oneself before buying. The product looks cool, but may not suit everyone due to durability and sizing issues. Overall, the product doesn't seem to live up to its marketing hype as a performance-enhancing necklace, but it may not hurt performance either.
