The rack tilts down after the bike is unloaded and is easy to swing-out for full rear access. The front arm has a rubber protector that prevents it from rubbing or scratching the fork of the bike. The bike rack includes a locking cord that wraps around and through the bikes making it secure, but a hitch lock is not included. However, a locking hitch pin can be bought as an add-on for extra security. The rack also has a locking cable that is handy for quick stops. In terms of assembly, it takes around 30 minutes to assemble the rack and the directions are easy to follow. Although, the rack Construction could be better as some reviews stated that it had some poorly machined holes and that the plastic wears overtime.
