Answer: As far as I know, this cable moves data from computer to computer. You should check with the manufacturer about your camcorder. Beware, you have to leave a voicemail for customer service and they take a few days to return the call. Super frustrating! -

Answer: The cable alone won't do it. They offer a special software which you can purchase either separately or in a bundle with the cable which will allow you to transfer programs.
