It can be controlled by DMX software on a computer or a DMX controller, or run in stand-alone mode. The light can be linked to multiple units, and the fixture is programmable with pre-set patterns, including color mixing and color fade patterns. However, the product has some drawbacks. The documentation doesn't explain how to set the unit up for static lighting, and changing the light effect can be challenging. The LED lights can flicker on camera if the LEDs are not at 100%, and the RGB and CMY colors at full do not flicker but pastels and such do flicker on camera. The product is best suited as a wall washer, and it is not recommended for extended periods of use.
