Nutritionist's Take
The Dexcom G6 Unicorn Theme precut adhesive patches are primarily a medical device accessory designed to secure CGM (continuous glucose monitoring) sensors rather than a nutritional product. Nutritionists appreciate that these patches can enhance the usability and comfort of the Dexcom G6 CGM system for individuals managing diabetes. They do not offer nutritional benefits as they contain no digestible ingredients. However, they can improve adherence to diabetes management by ensuring the sensor stays in place during daily activities, potentially leading to better glucose control. A drawback might be the material, as some individuals may experience skin irritation from adhesives. Overall, while not a nutritional product, these patches can positively impact health management for those requiring glucose monitoring, making them a practical choice for users within suitable skin tolerance.
RockaDex Adhesive Bandages Editorial Review
The Dexcom G6 Unicorn Theme precut Adhesive Patches come in a pack of five and feature cute designs that make changing sensors a little less scary for kids. The adhesive on the overlays is great and lasts for the full 10 days, keeping the sensors in place. Some customers have noted that the overlays are a bit too big for smaller arms and have had to cut them to size, but overall they are satisfied with the product and plan to order again. However, there are some customers who have experienced allergic reactions to the stickers.
