Percussion Editorial Review
The Hal Leonard Cajon Method is a highly recommended book for anyone looking to learn how to play the Cajon. With its easy-to-read format and comprehensive instruction, this book is perfect for beginners and more experienced players alike. Customers have praised the book for its clear and concise instructions, making it easy to follow along and learn the different techniques. The book also provides a variety of groove options to practice, which adds to the fun and enjoyment of learning the instrument. However, some customers have noted that there is minimal instruction provided for the groove options. While there is a full-speed tempo demonstration of each groove, a simple walk-through of each one prior to the full-speed demo would have been beneficial. In conclusion, the Hal Leonard Cajon Method is an excellent resource for anyone wanting to learn how to play the Cajon. The book's clear instructions and variety of grooves make it an enjoyable and informative learning experience.
