Salice Excen-Three Hinges, 106 Degree Opening, 1/2" Overlay
The Salice Excen-Three Hinges are a pair of hinges that allow for a 106-degree opening with a 12" overlay. They come in a nickel/chrome finish and are not soft-close hinges. The specs for these hinges are very tight and there is no room for variation in overlay. The edge of the cup hole is 3mm from the edge of the door. If you use the Kreg European hinge jig, the perimeter of the 38mm hole is about 3mm from the outside edge of the stile. According to customer reviews, these hinges can be tricky to adjust to get the door to fit properly. Some customers have experienced the door sticking out from the face frame even with precise fitting and cam adjustment. It's important to note that if the door sticks out even after trying all three cam adjustments, this might not be the correct hinge for the purpose.
