Mackie Multipurpose EM-91CU Editorial Review
Mackie EM-Series USB Condenser Microphone with USB-A Connection (EM-91CU) is a robust choice for podcasting and streaming, well-liked for its unidirectional polar pattern that isolates vocals. Users appreciate its easy USB connectivity, making it compatible with various devices, though a USB-C adapter is needed for USB-C only devices. While some reviews highlight its dark sound profile, which may not suit all needs like Zoom calls, it excels in environments where voice clarity is essential, particularly for solo singing or teaching videos. The inclusion of a shock mount, a nice surprise for users, adds further value to this solid microphone, making it great for those looking for quality on a budget.
