Traxxas Helicopters 6608 BLUE Editorial Review
The Traxxas Alias is a quad rotor helicopter that is described as a great product for beginners and those looking for a product they can grow into. The product has three different modes - 2 with auto-stabilization modes and expert mode which has the acro mode. The acro mode is only activated with adjustable rates. A custom rate can be programmed for each flight mode allowing users to grow with the product. It is made of high-quality materials and can withstand crashes, with replacement parts easily available. It is particularly durable and a great drone for learning controls. However, replacement gears might be needed following heavy usage especially by a 12-year old boy. Additionally, the motors do not last long, sometimes just a couple of hours, but inexpensive aftermarket motors are available that last longer. The Traxxas Alias is a blast to fly and is recommended for beginners or more advanced players alike.
