It is Construction/industrial quality but may become inflexible in cold weather. The connectors lock into the appropriate outlets on each end. The tag on the cord lists the adjusted Max Rating due to the length of the cord. Any power cord over 50 Feet will de-rate to a lower amperage, so it's essential to know the amount of Watts your equipment end will be using. If your generator has a 220 twist lock receptacle, then this will work for you. However, if you have a 10000 watt generator, this cord is not the correct cord. Customer
