The Catholic Study Bible has received a range of feedback from customers. Some have praised it for its updated translation, comprehensive footnotes, and insightful reading guides. The hardcover version particularly receives positive feedback, with users appreciating its durability. However, criticisms have been raised, particularly concerning the thin pages and the nature of the footnotes. Some find the notes to be skeptical and cynical, which may not be suitable for those new to the faith. Others have highlighted concerns about the book's condition, with pages falling out, which is deemed unacceptable for a new book. While some customers are content with the product, others have reservations based on the aforementioned points.
