Answer: Depends on the texture on your wall. The heavier the texture the thicker the roller nap. For my normal flat drywall finish I use 3/8 or 1/2 inch nap. The 1/2 holds a little more paint. -

How do you release the sleeve?
Answer: Same as any other roller sleeve, I bang it on the edge of a garbage can.
