However, it is important to dilute it according to instructions when used on puppies. The dip is not to be used on cats as it can cause sickness. The product should be used on the skin and not rinsed off as it has no preventative in it. It can be used as a spot treatment but must not be used in the ears. The company recommends using Ear Mite Treatment for ticks in the ears of dogs. The dip also works well on fleas provided it is applied as instructed and in the right volumes. The product is not effective on bed bugs. The dip may not be long-acting but its impact is immediate. The product is better suited for dogs that are able to stand still for up to 10 mins, which is the time the product takes to be effective.
