The handle turns clockwise to lock the holder and there is no thread on the bottom, only a through-hole and the post or stud used with it is probably a 10mm. The base is 40mm tall and the tool holder 250-001 is 28.1mm tall. The dimensions of this part are 1.75”X1.7” x 1.575” tall without the top lever and 2.1875” over a. The knurling wheels it holds are 250-010 with .5 inch diameter. Some findmall tool holders do not fit properly while others fit perfectly. People with a need for accurate dimensions on the knurling wheels find better data useful. Some customers criticised the poor quality control, poor machining, and garbage fit and finish. Others find it the sturdiest tool post they have ever had.
