Answer: Yes, we use it with our leopard gecko lizard and it thrives in it, much better than sand. -

Can you tear/cut off amounts you need rather than having to soak the whole thing?
Answer: Yes you can. I used one and a half. -

How much water do I use for 1 brick?
Answer: Add 3 - 4 litres of water to the whole brick, leave for 30 minutes and it will expand to 7-8 litres of substrate.
