HEXBUG Science Kits & Toys 406-4323 Editorial Review
VEX Robotics Motorized Robotic Arm by HEXBUG is a fun and educational toy designed for children aged 8 to 15. This robotic arm features over 350 pieces, allowing users to assemble a fully functional model that helps teach STEM principles. Users find the assembly instructions easy to follow, enhancing the enjoyment and learning experience. The arm can perform basic functions, although it's noted that it lacks fine motor control—moving parts at only one speed. Many parents appreciate that their kids can build and modify the arm for creative projects, with some even integrating it with Arduino or Raspberry Pi. Overall, this robotic arm serves as a great introduction to robotics and engineering.
