Answer: Yes it will work. I have installed it on my stump-jumper. -

Can I assume this works fine with 28t chain ring?
Answer: It works well with a 28 tooth and there is plenty of adjustment for other size chainrings as well. -

Is there any reason to use the spacers to get the guard closer to the 1x chaining?
Answer: Personally I would like my bash guard to be as close to the frame as possible. -

Does this work with an oval chainring?
Answer: Yes, it can work with an oval chainring. The circular ring can have 30 teeth or less. -

Is it feasible to mount using iscg-05 bolt pattern, when only using bolts in 1:30 & 4:30 positions? my norco fluid fs1 has no hole in 7:30 position.
Answer: I’m sure it will mount up with just two bolts. Just won’t be as strong as it would with three bolts.
