The Driver Side Replacement Mirror Glass for the 1997-2001 Jeep Cherokee is highly recommended by customers. The fit may be tight, making it difficult to remove during installation, but once properly applied, the glass is secure. It is DOT approved translucent, ensuring it does not blind you at night. The adhesive system, although neat and easy to use, may not hold as well as non-latex silicon in the long run. The included instructions were deemed useless, but customers found success in using heat to remove the old glass and gently prying it away with a putty knife. The product fits perfectly on the 2001 Jeep Cherokee sport, but it may not fit a Grand Cherokee. Overall, customers are pleased with the clarity of the mirror and the quick and easy installation process.
