ACI Truck Beds & Tailgates 360222 Editorial Review
**** The replacement tailgate handle for the 2005 Colorado has garnered a mostly favorable reception among customers looking for an economical alternative to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts. Many users appreciate that this handle mimics the functionality and aesthetics of the OEM model, boasting all necessary tabs and securing points that ensure a seamless fit. The presence of provisions for OEM rubber bump stops has also been highlighted as a desirable feature, making installation straightforward. However, not all feedback is entirely positive. While several customers report successful installations and satisfactory performance, there are notable concerns regarding the durability of the handle. Some users have experienced issues with the internal plastic components, with one customer specifically mentioning that the part snapped and required creative solutions like zip ties for continued usability. Additionally, a few reviewers expressed that the material feels less rigid than the original handle, which led to a minor demotion of star ratings. Overall, this tailgate handle presents a cost-effective replacement option with essential compatibility features, but potential buyers should be aware of the possibility of durability issues based on mixed customer experiences. **
