The Proxicast 5-8 dBi High Gain External Antenna is designed for use with Cisco, Cradlepoint, Netgear, Novatel, Pepwave, MoFi, CalAmp, Digi, Sierra, and other 3G/4G LTE routers and modems with SMA connectors. The product comes in a pack of two with SMA Male connectors. The product is not compatible with Huawei CPE Pro 2 and Nokia Fast Mile 5G as these do not have external antenna ports. However, the product is compatible with TP-Link MR6400 and Netgear Nighthawk, although separate bases are required for the latter. The product's effectiveness is down to environmental factors. The signal strength was increased from 4G to 5G for one user, but for another, it decreased. Similarly, for another user, the SNR ratio increased from 6.5dB to 10.5dB after replacing two of the factory antennas on the Pepwave 5G modem. However, one customer believes that there was no noticeable increase in signal strength compared to their factory antennas. The company provides fantastic customer service and quick responses, even on Labor Day weekend.
