Answer: The default state of the switch is off, and it functions as an SPST (single pole, single throw) switch. -

What is the thread size of the brass knob?
Answer: The brass knob has a 10-32 thread. -
Question:
Can you use this with a 4.8mm terminal for electronics project?
Answer: It is the normal size terminal; the size used on all automobiles. It also has a screw on each terminal which means you can attach just the wire to it. This is a quality product. -

The diameter of the threaded portion of switch? What size hole is required to mount the switch?
Answer: 3/8" hole fits it fine. -

Does this have a VAC rating?
Answer: Worked just like original. -

What is the depth of the threaded shaft?
Answer: Sorry but mine is installed under the dash and no way can I get at it to measure. But the threaded shaft is 3/8" in diameter so from the picture I would guess at least an inch long. I remember it as being pretty long which worked well for my install. I am very happy with the quality! -

How thick of wall will it fit?
Answer: 1 inch would be the maximum.
