Will this fit all CAP plates? I have a CAP dumbbell set and I don't want to buy new plates if I get this.
Answer: I have several varieties of Cap Plates and they all fit....as Frankie said back on 6/29/2104 all inch holes plates should fit. -
Question:
Is there any difference with a straight or ez curl bar. Is it still as effective as using a straight bar .? Is there much of a difference .?
Answer: Less torque on the wrists with the Z bar. You can also do close grip bench presses with your hands 3-4 inches apart with little strain on the wrists. I work up to 192 pounds for sets of 12 reps on this exercise. I use to do them at the gym on the straight Olympic bar with a 10 in grip with 205 lbs or so for 10 or more reps and would have severe wrist pains in not time. This exercise with the Z-Bar gives you a closer grip, more triceps and no strain on the wrists. I am 62 with a true 19 inch arm and have NEVER used any steroids in my life since I began in the summer of 1968. -

They come with something to keep the weights from falling off right? Just wondering If I need to buy clips seperate. thanks
Answer: Yes the Cap Barbell Weight Bar I bought came with threaded collars. The collars have internal washers that help to keep the collar tight against the weight plate. The collars stay tight on some exercises, but not all. I would recommend a spare pair of clips for some exercises. -

Is this one whole bar or is it two separate and you have to connect them with screw?
Answer: It's a whole bar. The screws on the side is so that you can put the weights on. -

I would like to know the length between the inside collars.
Answer: It's about 31.5 inches between collars. -

This is a silly questions, but on average how many plates fit on each side if each plate is like 1 inch width? Thank you
Answer: Each weight isn't 1 inch thick-the diameter of the circle that the bar goes through on the weight is 1 inch. However, it looks to me like you could safely fit approximately six 10 lb weights on each side. You might could fit about four 25 lb weights on each side and still screw the end holders on enough to secure the weight but that much weight would probably bend the bar.
