This 8 Channel Single Wire Multi-switch (SWM) is designed to enhance your viewing experience by allowing any transponder from any DIRECTV satellite input to be independently selected and distributed through one of the eight designated SWM output frequency channels. With two outputs, this multiswitch can serve two customer dwellings, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The built-in diplexer combines off-air signals with DirecTV satellite signals onto a single home-run wire to the dwelling, eliminating the need for multiple cables. The DirecTV SWM8 Multiswitch supports six LNB inputs, each triple band stacked, covering existing 99/101, 103/110/119 satellites, along with two Flex Ports for the 95 sat and 72.5 sat. The beauty of this multiswitch is that it allows installers to run an AT9 or AU9 DirecTV satellite antenna plus 2 Flex ports down a single RG6 Coaxial cable.
To distribute the signal to as many as four DVR's or eight HD receivers, you will need an STS-2, STS-4, or STS-8 splitter (not included) at the end of the single wire.
