How many signals can this control unit handle?
Answer: This control unit can handle up to 4 signals. -

Does it come with optical sensors?
Answer: Yes, it includes 4 optical sensors. -

Is the installation process difficult?
Answer: No, it comes with complete installation and hook up instructions. -
Question:
Can I use this with my DC and DCC trains?
Answer: Yes, this unit can be used for both as it requires AC power to operate. Also, this unit is not DCC controlled so it will not interact with your DCC powered track unit. -
Question:
Does the power supply come with the controller?
Answer: No, it does not. My layout is DCC but I will use an old power pack from when my layout was DC. I haven’t hooked the controller up yet but this is my understanding of how to do it. Good Luck! -
Question:
Can this be installed on a train board that sits on the floor?
Answer: Yes, you can mount this unit on any layout, as long as you have enough clearance and there is no pressure being put on the unit from the weight of the board. Do not attach it to the bottom of the board and then allow the weight of the board to press down sandwiching it between the board and the floor. -

Will this work on Tomar grade crossing signals?
Answer: Maybe -

Does this work for cavalier crossing?
Answer: If it’s a Walther’s made crossing, yes. -
Question:
My controller is a Bachman, the output terminals are 16 volts AC. Will this controller work for my layout?
Answer: Yes, it should. The box/package indicates that the input to the Controller can be up to 18 volt AC, from a power pack accessory terminal. -
Question:
Will this work with an EZ-Track Bachmann?
Answer: Yes, this would work with EZ-Track. You may need to modify the track (usually by drilling a hole in the ties) to fit the sensors in. It does not actually connect to the track power, so it will work with any track type with proper set-up. -
Question:
I have 4 crossings, will it control multiple crossings? (2 flashing light devices per crossing)
Answer: No, it controls up to 4 signals per each crossing. You have to purchase a controller for each crossing (4).
