Xelero Shoes Editorial Review
The Hyperion II-High Men's Comfort Therapeutic Extra Depth Hiking Shoe has garnered mixed reactions from customers, primarily focusing on comfort and performance versus durability and aesthetics. Many users express satisfaction with the immediate comfort and support offered by these shoes right out of the box. One customer noted the ample space in the forefoot area, making them suitable for extended hikes and adventures. In fact, some users have found them to break in quickly, making them a go-to choice for demanding treks, including trips abroad. However, there are significant concerns regarding the Construction quality. A reviewer highlighted issues with the durability of the laces, which ripped after a few weeks of use. This has led to frustration, particularly given the high expectations for a performance hiking shoe. Additionally, the shoe's aesthetics have been a point of contention; some customers aren't fond of the brushed leather exterior resembling "moon boots" and note that it stains easily despite waterproofing attempts. Ultimately, while the Hyperion II offers commendable comfort and is favored for performance-based purposes, concerns regarding quality and appearance may be a deterrent for some potential buyers. **
