Dritz Leathercraft Rivets BLK134 Editorial Review
**** The Dritz Gunmetal Rivets set has garnered a positive reception from users who appreciate its versatility and ease of use. Many customers highlight the aesthetic appeal of the gunmetal finish, finding it suitable for a wide range of projects, from tote bags to seat covers and even boat canvas. The included setting tool is generally praised for facilitating the application of the rivets, with some users noting that a dead blow hammer and a solid surface enhance the process, though results may vary based on the thickness and type of material being riveted. Reviewers have found the rivets to hold securely, with most users reporting successful applications without issues of tarnishing, rusting, or finish peeling. However, there are noteworthy tips regarding the proper technique; customers advise against using excessive force when setting the rivets to prevent damage and to ensure a solid hold, especially with stretchy materials that might require additional support when set. While some users experienced minor challenges with the included hole punch, alternative methods, such as the use of an awl or leather hole punch, proved effective. Overall, the Dritz rivets serve as a reliable option for both novice and experienced crafters looking to add decorative elements to their projects, coupled with solid functionality. **
