Walt Disney's Uncle Scrooge: The Diamond Jubilee Collection is an excellent hardcover collection of the classic comics. The product is top quality, and the price is worth the emotions it brings back. The comics are discrete entities of four-color genius and are as refreshing as sunlight after a dull, tedious winter inside. The binding is nice, and the comics are enjoyable for all ages, even for the reviewer's children. However, the editorial banter introducing each story indicates that none of these tales originated in Europe, which raises questions about whether this is an approach to avoid royalties owed to the Barks estate on US copyrighted stories. The mystery behind this is bigger than any portrayed in the book faced by Uncle Scrooge and his kin. Overall, this collection is an excellent addition to any fan's collection and brings back fond memories.
