Kohler Touch On Kitchen Sink Faucets 22974-2MB Editorial Review

The KOHLER 22974-2MB Crue Touchless Kitchen Faucet presents a range of experiences for customers, reflecting a mix of high praise for design and performance alongside some notable frustrations. Many users appreciate the faucet’s sleek and modern aesthetics, describing it as a high-quality addition that complements various kitchen styles, particularly when paired with other Kohler products. The performance of the faucet receives accolades, specifically for its powerful stream which minimizes splashing, and the motion sensor activation that adds convenience. Installation appears straightforward for many—some reported completing it in under 15 minutes—though there are caveats regarding the compatibility of parts, notably the mounting kit. A few reviews highlight a problematic experience with operational issues, such as the inConsistencies with the touchless activation and difficulties in the retractability of the hose. Several users have remarked on the faucet’s susceptibility to water spots, which detracted from their overall satisfaction, especially given its premium price point. Notably, the inclusion of the "throttle" feature (boosting water pressure) was well-received but some were left disappointed by the electronic functionality not meeting expectations. Overall, the Kohler faucet draws strong approval for its aesthetic appeal and build quality, while also receiving critical feedback regarding installation complexities and touchless technology performance. **
