Format: Blu-ray Drama Editorial Review
That’s Entertainment, Part II is a compilation film featuring some of the greatest musical moments in MGM history. The film is hosted by Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly and is peppered throughout with anecdotes and behind-the-scenes stories. The film takes the viewer on a nostalgic journey back to the Golden Age of Hollywood, showcasing musical numbers and dance routines from various films. The movie offers great entertainment for families and anyone who loves classic musicals. The music and dance performances are described as pure genius by one of the reviewers. Watching this movie takes them to the good old days and is something that they still love watching even now. However, it is not as good as its prequel, That’s Entertainment. The quality of the HD rental version disappoints, and there is a lack of some fan-favorite actors, such as Cyd Charisse. Additionally, some reviewers do not like the use of narrators doing song and dance numbers and prefer a more straightforward introduction and narration.
