The tool is comfortable to hold, produces no vibrations while drilling and can drill a hole as big as the user wants. SDS-Plus carbide-tip masonry bits are readily available from multiple manufacturers. The rotary hammer comes with a case that doesn't accommodate an 18-inch bit. The depth guide doesn't help much either. However, it is simple to add a piece of tape to the bit to reach the proper depth. The Bosch SDS rotary hammer drill is described as practical, easy to use, and precise. Some reviews compare its performance to Hilti drills but much cheaper.
